I have had great rides with my Ultra Classic. that is what I bought the bike for. But great rides do not come just with the bikes. It also needs those people behind the bike to make and keep the rides great. The service department has been great. Anytime I have had a problem, they were always there. Whether it wassomething that can be solved over the phone, or I needed to bring the bike into the shop, Matt and his department has always been there to help.
The ladies in apparel have been the best when it comes to servcie. I wish I could pick out one that shines over the rest, but they all are great. Tina always has the knack for great conversation and making the customer feel good and important.
Sales have always been there after the sell. they are always asking if there is anything they can do to make the experience better. the experience I have hadwith the bike and my dealings with them has been the best. There is always a happy face to meet customers as they come into the store!
Pars department has been extremely helpful and looks out for the customer and the bike. They have not failed me in any way. they always make suggestions, but never sacrifice the service and care that one expects for Harley-Davidson dealer. they have always answered questions I have had in the past and am sure they will do so in the future. I trust their judgment to the max as I do the other deparments.
I appreciate the great care Paul has taken with my bike. the one thing I am grateful for is the fact that he probably knows my better than I do. With that knowledge, I know I can always depend on him and the rest of the staff to insure my satisfaction with the rides and service.

"There are no real standouts at El Cajon Harley. That is because they are all great in what they do. Eric is always out and about on the floor talking with Harley owners or potential owners. The service department is the best I have ever dealt with whether it has been with cages in the past or other bike dealers. The entire dealership is there for the rider and the bike. Even the owner has been on the floor shaking hands with customers and talking with them. Thanks for the great experience with the bike and the service afterward the sell. You guys are the greatest!"

"A huge thanks to the folks at ElCajon HD.
Found myself stranded on the road with a flat tire over 200 miles from home. Manaaged to worry the bike to the dealership and prepared myself to be hosed.
Turns out a valve stem went bad. I got out of the service dept for $50. FIFTY DOLLARS!

"All around an excellent experience. I was completely underwater with my old bike (a ducati) and was ready to give up riding all together. In a last ditch attempt I went to Harley of El Cajon and was greeted with a friendly attitude as soon as I stepped through the door. Jeff (sales Manager) went over all the options that were available for me and we eventually decided on a trade in route that put me on a new Sportster 48. The staff is very knowledgeable but they don't treat you as a lay person rather a new member of their family. I would recommend El Cajon Harley to all my friends and anyone that isn't sure about their riding future, their knowledge and friendly atmosphere will change your life. Also they are EXTREMELY MILITARY FRIENDLY which you would think most shop are but this was the first time when buying a big ticket item where I felt revered. "I bought my first HD in 1972 from what then was Chuck Hollenda Harley-Davidson. Since then my wife and I have purchased 8 more Harleys. Never in alll those years have I been dissapointed by any facet of the dealership; sales, service. Staff is knowledgeable, honest and whats to make the prospective buyer and the owner or traveler happy. Great GM, Eric Diaz, grandson of Chuck Hollenda, Cliff, Bryon, Derek in Parts, the guys that spin the wrenches and the women behind the counter have nothing but the cusomers best interest.

"I've been coming to El Cajon Harley since 1997 when I purchased my first Harley. 14 years and 5 Harleys later, I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. I just had my 'glide in for service and had some accessories installed. From Cliff and Bryan in parts to Paul, Matt and Tyler in service the entire process is remarkably stress free. Bryan made sure all the parts were for the correct application and Paul went beyond to make sure the install was perfect for my size. Eric sold me the first one in '97 as a sales rep. for Chuck Holenda's Harley. If I am fortunate to stick around for awhile I will always deal with the entire crew at El Cajon. Can't say just how much these guys and gals make my visits great."

I was cruising past ECHD two weeks ago and decided to stop off for some bladder relief....and there on the floor was a 2010 Road King that winked at me as I passed by! "I've owned 6 Harleys, have 4 now, and have always taken them to custom shops for servicing, because we all know how expensive the dealers are. Unfortunately, the other shops seem to jerk people around lately. I brought my Road King to El Cajon Harley because it wouldn't start, and I wanted it fixed right. Matt, the service manager, and Paul, one of the techs there, got right on it, even though it was 4:30 in the afternoon. A half hour later, Matt called me, and my bike was done. Just a simple relay. They were so professional, they could have told me that there was a lot wrong with the bike, but they were honest. And I think I paid less than I would have at the custom shops. It's nice to see a service department with integrity. El Cajon Harley has a customer for life. Thanks guys."

"Hello everyone-- on my third new HD from the guys in El Cajon; that alone should tell you something. Customers don't "come back," if they get treated poorly. But - for me this looks like the third time is really the "charm." Still running an '02 FXDX carbed TC 88, which is one of the best handling Harleys of all time, and will not be deleted from the household. I kept an '08 Crossbones for a couple of years, and while a fabulous bike- it was not a perfect fit for me, since I am more a Dyna guy than a Softail guy; heck- the world's big enough for all of us! So I let the 'Bones go back to the dealership in January, 2010 and took home what is truly the bike of my dreams-- the flame-graphic FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide. Now here is the perfect fit for my 5' 11" frame. Apes and springers look great, but the 'Bones was never quite right for me, while the Wide G. is exactly correct.
Everybody at the Shop deserves accolades-- Eric, Jeff, Rob, Grace, Matt, the service guys, Cliff and Byron- and the other always reliable unsung heroes of Parts...need a tricky-to-find older part? These gents can track it down, at a reasonable price. ECHD has always been a reliable, friendly workmanlike business that you can count on-- either as a new buyer just starting in motorcycling, or a seasoned citizen like me (20+ bikes over 40 years of riding.) "Hola quiero decir que en el 2009 compre una fatbob, con la cual tube muchos problemas y muchas veces acudi al dealer donde la compre, lo cual me dejo muy malas experiencias tanto en mala atencion como mal servicio, hasta el haberme arrepentido de comprar una HD, varios de mis amigos decian que deberia haber comprado una moto japonesa, en fin despues de muchas malas experiencias en tan corto tiempo(1 ano y medio) la ultima ves que lleve la moto a servicio , no quede satisfecho, y me sentia inseguro algunas veces pense que podria ser psicologico por todos los problemas que pase con el dealer, platique con un amigoy me recomendo llevar la moto a El Cajon HD, lo cual hicimos 2 o 3 dias despues de mi ultimo servicio, en el cual me dijeron y me dieron un paper de que habian checado bien mi moto, en fin, cuando llegue a El Cajon HD, mi primera sorpresa por sierto positiva es que un mecanico se preocupo por mi moto y la checo,en ese mismo momento sin una cita , el me dedico unj tiempo eso me dio confianza, y saben que paso, que mi moto no estaba en buenas condiciones, para no hacer la historia larga ya que lo unico que quiero compartir y dejarles saber es que en El Cajon HD encontre la mejor atencion, ellos se emvolvieron imediatamente paratrabajar en mi caso, y creame que es la mejor experiencia que vivi con respecto al servicio al cliente, varias personas se envolvieron hasta dejarme satisfecho, hicieron cambiar mi forma de pensar me hicieron creer una ves mas en HD, Gracias El Cajon en especial a Erick Diaz y su equipo por todo lo que han hecho por mi, Gracias de corazon y un dia de estos nos vemos.. felicidades por su gran trabajo."

"I recently had the pleasure of having my 2002 road glide repaired at El Cajon HD
I have been a customer there for some time and always enjoyed their great and friendly services.
This time I needed some major work done since one of my cam bearings was going bad.
Matt promptly came and looked at my bike and informed me that I should not be riding it like this. I left it with them.
He called me back when promised and informed me of the damage.

"It's coming up Two years now since I darkened the doorways of EL Cajon Harley Davidson for the first time.I can't express the graditude and appreciation I have for the entire Staff.I've been in San Diego all my life and have never experienced such personal warmth.Not only from the sales person but from the entire staff.I was expecting Jeff in sales to hit me right between the running lights with some sales pitch but he threw me a curve and introduced me directly to Eric and before I knew it I was on a Saturday ride on a demo.I had an absolute blast.I Purchased the Crimson Rocker-C that Stan Miller auctioned off for Camp Hope. Matt and Grace in service go the extra step,their awesome. "I have the Red Sporty in the Used Inventory since the wife and I moved back to San Diego. I walked into the dealer in the morning and saw a Blue Heritage and a Black one. I asked my brother which one he liked and he said the black. I did too. I went out the door and brought the boss back and asked her which one and she said the black. It was as easy as that. I told Rob to wrap it up and for Jill to do the paper. I have never been treated with as much repsect and kindness when I have purchased anything. They even wanted to sell my Sporty for me so I would not lose anything, I said I just want to pay it off. The staff have ent over ackwards to help us and parts has done the same. I could not honestly suggest another shop to go to. I literally stole the '09 Softtail Heritage and it is the nicest bike I have seen in a long time. Plus I am adding to it weekly. "I have wanted to ride a bike, not just any bike but a Harley Davidson ever since I can remember. It all started one day Mid-June of 09'. My partner and I walked into El Cajon Harley Davidson and was greeted initially by Rob. Rob walked us through and answered every question. NEVER once felt pressured. I fell in love with the IRON and it grabbed my soul. This bike must have been mine from the start because there were other folk interested who for one reason or another did not follow through and I was able to place a deposit on this Sweet IRON. With in 1-1/2 weeks we took Motor Cycle Safety Course, went and get a licence, walked in by 4pm and rode off on my Sweet IRON 09' by 6pm the same night, and my partner rode off on her 09' Nighster. We got a great deal.
Okay so, The experience was OUTSTANDING, the introduction to HOG was comforting and the new frienships made are treasured. El Cajon Harley... Rob, Jill, Jeff, Rob, the parts and service crew... YOU GUYS ROCK!

"If you're even THINKING of buying a motorcycle, make sure you stop in at El Cajon Harley-Davidson. About 75% of the reason I bought a motorcycle was the customer service that I found at El Cajon HD. The reason I'll buy another one is because of my experience there.
I bought my first bike from them about two months ago. During the whole process everyone was very friendly and considerate, and helped me find the best deal on financing. Additionally, since it was my first bike, the Sales team (Rob, Jeff, Jill) provided me information on how to get into a MSF safety class. Throughout the whole process El Cajon HD has been interested in getting me the bike of my dreams, but making sure I'm well equipped to ride it.
To top things off, they're follow-up customer service is the best I've ever seen or heard about, in any industry. Once or twice a month I'll get a phone call from the sales team checking in to see how I'm liking riding, and to inform me of the many different activities they have on the weekends at El Cajon HD (and they're tremendous fun too!).
If I can think of one single moment that defines the El Cajon HD experience, it'd be this. I'm in the US Navy, and everytime I go into the store Rob, Jeff, Jill, Melissa, Derek... heck, the whole store, will ask me how it's going. It's really great that they're that plugged-into customer's lives. Then, they truly went above-and-beyond by sending me a plaque with a picture of my Nightster, with the VIN, and in the background was a US flag and the Navy seal. It's now sitting on my mantle at home.
Everyone knows that HD makes the best bikes out there. But not everyone knows where they can go to get one at a great price, and have a wonderful experience at the same time. Well, that place is El Cajon HD. Stop by for a visit, it'll be the most rewarding vehicle shopping you'll ever encounter."

I passed by the dearlership today and I see that the remodel is almost complete (yeaaaaa,,, just in time for the 2009's) I am really looking forward to seeing the new El Cajon Harley Davidson dealership. Now hopfully the larger shop can stand side by side with the GREAT customer service that I have enjoyed for years. I can't wait to be able to see more inventory out on the floor. I have visited other dealerships and even though the shops are usually larger they all seem to be missing somthing???????(customer service) It's the down to earth conversations with Eric, the help from Cliff at the front counter, Matt in service trying to get you in and out as soon as he can so you can get back on the road and Tina's great smile welcoming you in (along with the rest of the great staff),,,,,,, and of course the 10% off for being an El Cajon HOG member. There have been many times I have passed up other dealerships when driving or riding by just to get the extra 10% off (everyone knows that HD stands for hundred dollars,,, because everytime you buy somthing from Harley Davidson it seems like it is going to cost you at least $100) Well every dollar counts these days so it's worth my while to make my way into El Cajon. With this and the customer service I will be a long time customer to come!

I Bought a used 87'sportster in 1991. rode it a year, love the feel and the rumble. sold it for more than i paid for it.Bought a 1992 heritage,road it untill the kids and house came along.then longing for the feel and rumble, i bought a 2003 100th heritage from El cajon harley.the in 2006 i moved up to a 2006 road king in 2006 from El cajon harley.Rode it year and unfortunately I hit a sand storm and it was totaled.so this time I rented a street glide and then a electric glide. i was in heaven!ordered and got a 2008 electric glide classic. "I drink a lot of coffee at the dealership, but finally put down that coffee cup and "yellow-tagged" the new '08 FLSTSB Crossbones on Feb. 7 and had the deal done on Feb. 8. This is a pretty special motorcycle. I'm a multi-brand cycle owner (20+ bikes over the years.) This new Harley pretty much eclipses them all. My first springer; gives a different ride than the traditional forks. That, with the "sprung solo seat" of the 'Bones, gives a very cushy all-day kind of ride. Lean angle is just fine for a bike of this class; the 'boards will gently touch down if you get 'er over enough. The new 96B motor is fabulous with spot-on fuel injection. Fit and finish of this machine is first class/world class.
My dealership experience is five stars; Eric, Jeff, Tod and the whole team will treat any buyer, whether returning or a new customer, with courtesy and respect. You won't feel rushed here, like at some other dealerships. By the way, I had a major service on my '02 FXDX Dyna there last week and the job was well done; bike was also washed and detailed. A recurring front brake problem was fixed. Two independent shops could not solve this problem, but ECHD was able to. Dealership is highly recommended. I wanted to ask if the "picture plaques" are still being sent out? I have one for the '02 Dyna...

"We, my wife Delilah and I, feel we were lucky to find El Cajon H-D. She was interested in a unique motorcycle that was flashy but useable and I was interested in getting some custom installation work done. She bought a FXDSE. I had my 1999 TLE sidecar installed on a FLHTCUSE. My wife was thrilled with her Screaming Eagle and I was thankful and appreciative of a very capable and professional team that installed my sidecar. I know it was a tedious job restoring my old sidecar to make it acceptable to install on a 2007 Screaming Eagle Ultra, but Paul and Matt made it happen. Just ask anyone at the Chilli cook-off what they thought of the rig.

"My name is Joe Maresh, my wife and I were the people who drove away from your dealership on the 9th of this month with the two Vivid Black Street Bobs. We were in San Diego to go on a Cruise to Mexico and journeyed to El Cajon to buy some Tee Shirts. As we were entering the store, I saw an 07 Street Bob parked outside. As we entered, Corey came up and asked if there was anything he could do for us. I asked him what the out the door price was on the Bob out side. His reply was that the tagged price was the out the door price. I had priced the same bike here in Vegas and their price was no where close to yours. Their answer was that they couldn't even come close, and they didn't seem interested in trying. I had bought two 2003 100th Anniversary Sportsters from these people, plus had all of the services and extensive work done there; but that did not seem to have any bearing on the situation. That made up my mind, I sold the Sportsters and called Corey to put a deposit on the Bobs. I can honestly say that the way your dealership does business and not the price was the primary reason that we walked into your store to buy Tee Shirts and two months later drove away with two 07 Dynas. It was also the primary reason that we had all of the extra work done by you and not at the dealership here after we got the bikes home (unfortunately its too far to drive to get the services done there). Corey is an excellent asset to your dealership. He kept us informed every step of the way, and everytime I asked him if something else could be done, his answer was always the same, sure-no problem. I was a resident of San Diego for 31 years before relocating to Las Vegas, our daughter still lives in Alpine. She is the Service Manager at Mossy Ford, and she commented more than once on the fact that she had never seen anyone with the level of customer service that she observed at your dealership. She was with us when we closed the deal and picked up the bikes. You can count on the fact that whenever anyone asks where we got our bikes or we overhear someone talking about buying a bike, your dealership will be brought up and why we made the trip to buy from you."

"I recently purchased a 2007 streetglide from you guys. I have to say that prior to, during and after the sale your staff was by far the best group I have dealt with throughout my many Harley / chopper purchases. First off, your sales manager was able to get me a great deal on the bike going through the military purchase program. Secondly, upon initial inspection of the bike I guess your techs found a tiny nick on the front fender. I would have never noticed it. Anyway, about a week after I got the bike I received a call from your folks saying the new fender was in. I didn't even know there was a fender on order. A lot of dealerships would have not ordered it until the buyer noticed the nick and requested a new fender. The new fender is now on the bike. And lastly, yesterday I received the picture/plaque from you guys with a pic of my bike, VIN, and my name on it. Very cool!!! The Marine Corps emblem was a super nice touch. Most dealerships send a thank you card, if anything. In closing I would just like to say, thanks for making my purchase fast, easy and stress free. Keep up the good work.
